 Scope of Practice and Promise

As a California Licensed Acupuncturist, I, James Skoien,  am a primary care physician qualified to diagnose and treat numerous illnesses, injuries and health complaints and am motivated to prevent health imbalances by offering healthy lifestyle consultation and utilizing treatment methods including acupuncture, nutritional and herbal prescriptions, dietary consultation, electrical and heat stimulation therapies, manual modalities and other treatment techniques. The California scope of practice of acupuncture directs me as a primary care physician to treat both the symptoms and the underlying causes of disease and injury. My promise to the patient is to fulfill this task to the best of my abilities.
